WHAT ARE THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE SC750 AND SC1000 MONITORS?
The SC750 is an 8.4” pre-configured patient monitor, whereas the SC1000 is a 10.4” modular system
CAN THE ACCESSORIES BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN BOTH MODELS?
Yes, it is possible to use the same accessories across both products
CAN THE MONITORS DISPLAY WAVEFORMS AND NUMERICAL DATA?
Yes, both monitors display waveforms and numerical data
CAN THE MONITORS DISPLAY ‘LARGE NUMBERS’?
Only the SC750 can display large numbers
CAN YOU CHANGE THE COLOUR AND POSITION OF THE WAVEFORMS?
NO, colour and position are fixed. However, using the configuration manager, it’s possible to customise the display and system profiles
HOW MANY WAVEFORMS CAN BE DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN?
The SC1000 can display up to a maximum of six waveforms, the SC750 can display up to 4 waveforms
ARE THE BATTERIES A COST OPTION?
No, the battery is included in the basic price of the system
WHAT TYPE OF BATTERIES ARE USED?
Both systems use a high capacity NiMH battery pack.
HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST?
The battery pack will power the system for between 2 and 3 hrs
CAN THE MONITORS BE USED WHILST THE BATTERY IS BEING CHARGED?
Yes, the monitors can be used whilst it charges the battery pack.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM CONFIGURATION OF THE SC750?
The minimum configuration of the SC750 will provide the following monitoring capabilities: ECG (3 or 5 lead), Respiration, SpO2, Temp (2) and NiBP
HOW MANY MODULES ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE SC1000?
There are 4 modules available for the SC1000: Module 1 – ECG, Resp, SpO2, Temp (2)
Module 2 - NiBP
Module 3 – IBP (2 channel) Module 4 - Capnography
CAN THE MODULES BE FITTED IN ANY ORDER?
Yes, the modules can be fitted in any order / combination.
CAN YOU PURCHASE ADDITIONAL MODULES; CAN THEY BE FITTED IN THE FIELD?
Yes, modules can be purchased at a later date and can be fitted in the field
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ECG WAVEFORMS THE MONITORS CAN DISPLAY?
The system can display a maximum of TWO independent waveforms
WHAT TYPE OF SPO2 TECHNOLOGY IS USED?
Both monitors use BCI digital technology. This technology offers users Nellcor Oximax
WHAT TYPE OF IBP TECHNOLOGY / SAMPLING LINES ARE USED ON THE SC1000?
The SC1000 uses the MEDEX Logical IBP technology
HOW MANY INVASIVE BLOOD PRESSURES CAN BE MONITORED?
The SC1000 can measure TWO invasive channels simultaneously (arterial & central venous pressure)
IS THE CAPNOGRAPHY TECHNIQUE, SIDE STREAM OR MAIN STREAM?
The SC1000 uses the Respironics LoFlo sidstream technology.
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE CONFIGURATION MANAGER?
The configuration manager is a software tool supplied with each products, it runs on a laptop or desk top platform and allows the user to develop individual configurations.
CAN YOU PROVIDE SINGLE USE ACCESSORIES?
Yes, the system is supported by a wide range of single use accessories.
HOW MANY TYPES OF PATIENT GROUP CAN THE SYSTEM BE USED WITH?
The SC1000 can monitor Adult, Paediatric and New born patient groups.
HOW DO YOU SELECT THE DIFFERENT PATIENT GROUP?
Patient group section can be set by the configuration manager or through the system menu options
IS THERE A WALL MOUNT FIXING SYSTEM AVAILABLE?
Yes, a wall mount fixing system is available
DOES THE SC1000 SUPPORT 3RD PARTY IBP SAMPLING LINES?
Yes, the SC1000 supports most of the common brands
CAN THE USER FIT THE MODULES IN ANY COMBINATIONS?
Yes, modules can be fitted in any order
CAN THE USER FIT TWO ECG MODULES TO THE SAME BASE CONFIGURATION?
No, only one of each module can be fitted to the base unit.
