Huntleigh Healthcare were proud to support Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) University Health Board’s Maternity Staff Awards as part of their International Day of the Midwife celebrations.
Every year CTM hold a multi-site awards ceremony recognising the achievements of their midwives and wider maternity staff.
Nearly 30 awards were presented on the day, with hundreds of nominations collected from both service users and the staff themselves. Awards are chosen by leadership, based on a shortlist provided by the awards team. The presenting the awards included members of the maternity team, member of the Royal College of Midwives, and Audrey Alies, Global Product Management & Marketing Director for Huntleigh.
Huntleigh have supported the awards for a number of years, providing flowers for the winners and printed cards for each nomination as a memento for nominees. Huntleigh also provide the ‘Golden Doppler’, which this year was awarded to Stacey Keane for Outstanding Service. In addition to the trophy, Huntleigh also awarded Stacey with a brand new Sonicaid® Doppler of her own.
